Work in progress investigating the individual man. An attempt to escape the constraints of patriarchal masculinity and manhood to reach a complete sense of selfhood.
Deeply inspired by the work of Bell Hooks and the heavily padded shoulders of 80s actor/singer Hiroshi Tachi. Fulcrum attempts to expose the fragility of men. It delves into causes and possible solutions to much of the depression men of today face. Methods of support. The emptiness of life without love. The hopelessness one can face with their emotive vocabulary limited to just anger and agony.
